Happy Holidays from our house to yours! We miss all of our family and friends so much! We hope the year has been a good one for you and you are all healthy and happy! Some new things about us this year:
We got a new puppy in January......I know! I didn't think we'd ever get one either! Her name is Zoey and she is a Yorkie and she is so much fun! She loves everyone who comes over and she loves to play and cuddle! She has taught us that potty training a small dog can take up to 9 MONTHS!!!! Whew! Glad she finally got it!! In February, we went to St. George for the annual baseball tournament and had a blast with our friends, the Marshalls, and John & Amber & kids even came down to watch a few games and hang out with us!! (and play with Zoey!) March took Kendyll and I to Utah to help Grandpa and Grandma get their house ready to sell. Nicole was going to BSU and working...Matt, Kyle and Kody stayed at home for baseball.....which takes us into April, May, June, and July....... however, the boys all took a break from playing baseball in May and went to Seattle to watch the Mariners play the Red Sox....... :).... Seriously! Games EVERY day in June and July!!! Matt and I took a weekend to go to Vegas in August to celebrate our 21 yr. anniversary! Way fun!!!! Kendyll, Kody, and I went to Utah agian in August for a week to help Grandpa and Grandma move into their new home. It was great to see everyone and we even got to go to a family reunion in Preston! Kyle took drivers training in August, so we now have another driver.....He'll have his permit till March, then his license! 3 down one to go!! :) In September school was in full swing for all of the Garvins! Nicole's back at BSU studying her general ed and Psychology, Kendyll's a senior and is undecided where he wants to go to school next year....lots of baseball between now and then. Kyle's a sophomore and plays basketball and baseball. (his recient growth spurt took him to almost 6') Kody's in the 7th grade and also plays basketball and baseball. He just finished his last year of Optimist football this fall.... In November, we were lucky enough to go to Disneyland agian. This time, we had tons of family with us and the Marshalls too! We had such a great time seeing everyone and spending fun times together! The week befrore thanksgiving this year, Matt was able to go to Utah to a Pink Floyd concert and got to visit with his Mom and sister while he was there. He was so happy to see them! We are so blessed with Matt's job. He loves working for D & B Supply, they're a really great company to work for and they take great care of us! He enjoys going to the rec center by his work on his lunch hour and plays basketball or raquetball. Matt also got to coach the high school freshman team last year and they've asked him to do it again this year. He has a great time coaching and loves the guys he coaches with and loves working with the boys. They had an awesome year and are looking forward to another great year. I substitute teach when it's convenient for me and my family and have reciently cut way back on the number of days per month. I pretty much spend most of the time driving boys around and try to squeeze in lunch with Nicole downtown when we can. I really enjoy being a mom and wife and feel so lucky and blessed to have such a great family! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!
